What this site is
This site describes the security consulting services offered by 3P Security Group. Nothing on it is an offer to perform guard services, alarm systems installation, alarm monitoring, or any other activity requiring a licence under Chapter 1702 of the Texas Occupations Code. We do not offer or accept enquiries for those services.
Security consulting itself is not a regulated activity in Texas. The Department of Public Safety deregulated Security Consulting Companies effective 1 September 2019.
Information is general, not advice for your property
The material on this site is general information about security practice. It is not a security assessment of your property and should not be relied on as one. Every site is different, and the only useful recommendation is one made after looking at the actual place. Nothing here creates a consulting relationship.
No legal or insurance advice
We reference public ordinances and statutes, including the City of Dallas alarm ordinance and Chapter 1702 of the Texas Occupations Code, because they bear directly on security decisions. Those references are provided as general information and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the date above. They are not legal advice, they can change, and you should confirm anything you intend to rely on with the issuing authority or your own counsel.
Engagements are governed by a separate agreement
Any consulting work is performed under a written engagement agreement covering scope, fees, confidentiality and liability. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the engagement agreement governs.
No guarantee of outcome
Security reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and no honest consultant will tell you otherwise. We do not warrant that following any recommendation will prevent a loss, an intrusion, or any other incident.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3P Security Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Liability arising from a consulting engagement is governed by the engagement agreement for that work.
Intellectual property
The content, layout, graphics and marks on this site belong to 3P Security Group. Deliverables prepared for a client belong to that client as set out in the engagement agreement.

Where we link to an outside source we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
